100 Serbian high school students visited 5 Italian companies that are successfully operating in the Mačvan district - Nord Communications

Association of Italian Industrialists "Confindustija Serbia" is 15.11.2019/XNUMX/XNUMX year by organizing a visit Serbian students to Italian companies in Šabac and Vladimirci marked the "Open Door Day of the Italian Economy" and "National Small and Medium Enterprise Day".

Confindustria's mission is exchange of business experiences, association and improvement of the socio-economic environment in Serbia a "Open Day of the Italian Economy" is organized under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy for the fourth year in a row. 

After Sremska Mitrovica, Zrenjanin, Velika Plana and Jagodina, this year it is the doors of their companies Serbian students opened the Italian companies Selettra WB, Pasubio, Vopachel and DDOR operating in the territory of Šabac, as well as the company Progetti from Vladimirac.

100 students from three secondary vocational schools from Šabac had the opportunity today to spend the day with Italian managers and businessmen and to see and hear in practice how business is done in these successful companies that are leading in terms of level technological innovations. Lectures on the importance of teamwork as well as info sessions were also organized o the most modern production technologies who Italian companies apply in their plants in Serbia. All the guests present could see for themselves exceptional attitude of Italian employers towards the local workforce with whose commitment and initiative, to mutual satisfaction, they achieve enviable business success in the part of Serbia that, due to the large number of Italian companies, is also called Little Italy.

The guests of honor at today's event were: H.E. Ambassador of Italy in Serbia, Carlo Lo Caso, vice president of Confindustria Serbia and co-owner of the company "Progetti" Romano Rossi i the mayor of Šabac, Nebojša Zelenović. In Vladimirci, the Italian delegation was joined by Vladan Krasavac, head of the Mačvan district.

Romano Rossi, Vice President of Confindustria Serbia, told young high school students that one day when they enter the business world, they must be innovative, have new ideas, be proactive and always think about tomorrow in order to change and improve themselves and the world around them.

Ambassador of Italy Carlo Lo Caso emphasized that the interest of Italian companies that want to invest in Serbia is still great and that currently they only operate in Šabac over 10 Italian companies. Among other things, he added that Italy is Serbia's second foreign trade partner.

Dedicated to strengthening cooperation in the relationship between school and business, the Association of Italian Industrialists in Serbia - Confindustija Srbija is particularly proud to point out that in the previous period it was responsible, together with its member companies, for the introduction of new educational programs and profiles in Serbian secondary vocational schools, as well as that he is part of the Working Group dedicated to the implementation of activities from the Master Implementation Plan of the Law on Dual Education.

Today's event in Šabac and Vladimirci coincides with the "National Day of Small and Medium Enterprises" event, which the Confindustria Association in Italy has been celebrating for ten years in a row as part of the "European Week of Small and Medium Enterprises".

UniCredit Bank Serbia and the company Transfera recognized the importance of the event through their support for its implementation.
