Culinary chefs from Kragujevac won 9 gold, 2 silver medals and 2 championship cups for the best junior chef and the best junior team at the culinary competition "Niška zlatni kotlić 2017" which was held in Nis from June 02-04.06.2017, XNUMX, under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Serbia. The competition was organized by the Association of Tourism and Hospitality Professionals from Niš.
The team from Kragujevac consisted of Milan Stevanović, Dušan Živković, Đorđe Milić, led by the president of HoReCa association Kragujevac Vujadin Vujadinović and vice-president of the association and mentor Vladimir Arsenijević.
"We are delighted with the results achieved. This is a great success for us, bearing in mind that there were over 300 competitors from over 20 countries of the world, and our competition team is almost completely oiled and still not well integrated. Most of the contestants who made up the previous team went to work abroad and became kitchen chefs, but that is the main task of our association," said Vujadinović.
"Honestly, we did not expect that our young chefs would be able to overcome their nervousness and the fact that much older and more skilled chefs were competing alongside them, however, our dishes were very interesting and excellently prepared, and the medals were not missing this time either." '- said mentor and cookery professor Vladimir Arsenijević.
At the international culinary competition in Niš, chefs from over 20 countries around the world competed in various culinary disciplines, trying to present their skills and present the culinary achievements of their country in the best way.
The best were decided by a jury led by famous names of the former Yugoslavia, such as Stevo Karapandža from Zagreb and master chefs from Israel, Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Greece and other countries. .
