Sweet bread.
Sweet bread, ingredients:
- 500 g of flour,
- 1 cube of yeast,
- 200 ml of lukewarm milk,
- a cube of margarine, about 40g,
- tablespoon of honey,
- half a teaspoon of salt,
- a teaspoon of turmeric.
For coating and sprinkling:
- 200 g of chocolate
- 7 spoons of apricot jam.
Sweet bread, preparation:
- Put the yeast in a little warm water to rise.
- Mix the flour and salt in a bowl, add the yeast that has risen in the meantime.
- Add lukewarm milk, gradually, to the flour and start kneading. Immediately add the melted margarine, a spoonful of honey and turmeric.
- Knead a smooth dough and put it in a warm place to rise.
- After 45 minutes of "resting" the dough, move it and leave it to rise for another hour.
- After that, heat the oven to 200 degrees and knead the dough once more, but this time, spread the dough, spread it with melted chocolate mixed with apricot jam.
- Roll up and place in a greased and floured pan.
- Leave the dough to rise for another half hour.
- The bread is baked at 200 degrees in a heated oven for about 50 minutes, but of course it depends on the oven.
