Wine stew with potato gnocchi – a little more work for this goulash, but the result is a surprising taste 🙂

Wine stew with potato gnocchi - Javorka Filipović
- Gnocchi:
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 250 g of wheat flour
- 1 egg
- a bit of salt
- water for cooking
- Goulash:
- 1 onion
- 500 g of beef
- 1 turnip
- 1 dl of white wine
- 1 dl cooked tomato or 1 fresh tomato
- 1 bell pepper
- dry herb seasoning to taste (oregano, garlic)
- a little flour
- a little oil
- Boil potatoes in their skins, peel them and mash them as for puree.
- Add the other ingredients and knead the dough.
- Drop the gnocchi, scooped up with a ladle, into a bowl of boiling water.
- Cook them until they float on the surface.
- For the goulash, sauté the onion in oil, add the sliced meat and turnips, cut the peppers and tomatoes in the same way and cover everything with wine.
- Stew until the meat is tender.
- Add water if necessary.
- Finally, season to taste, add tomato juice and, if necessary, a little flour to give everything the consistency of goulash.
- Serve the finished goulash with gnocchi.
