Aromatic sutlijaš - my youngest and most favorite guests simply adore it.... And their moms wonder what the secret ingredient is that gives it its fantastic aroma. I decided to reveal the mystery and publish the recipe 🙂

  • 300 g of rice
  • 800 ml milk
  • 8 spoon of sugar
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar
  • orange peel (grated)
  • 25 g of raisins
  • nutmeg (a little)
  • cinnamon (to taste)
  1. Wash the rice, pour it into a pot and pour water to cover it.
  2. Cook on low heat until the water evaporates and the rice is soft (if necessary, you can add a little water from time to time), stirring occasionally.
  3. When the rice is cooked, pour milk over it, add sugar, vanilla sugar, grated orange peel and a little nutmeg.
  4. Cook until the milk boils and the mixture becomes thick.
  5. At the end of cooking, add chopped raisins, mix well and pour the sauce into serving bowls.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over the bow-shaped mold so that it is painted nicely. Pleasant!
It can be eaten both hot and cold, as one likes.
