Aromatic sutlijaš - my youngest and most favorite guests simply adore it.... And their moms wonder what the secret ingredient is that gives it its fantastic aroma. I decided to reveal the mystery and publish the recipe 🙂
- 300 g of rice
- 800 ml milk
- 8 spoon of sugar
- 2 bags of vanilla sugar
- orange peel (grated)
- 25 g of raisins
- nutmeg (a little)
- cinnamon (to taste)
- Wash the rice, pour it into a pot and pour water to cover it.
- Cook on low heat until the water evaporates and the rice is soft (if necessary, you can add a little water from time to time), stirring occasionally.
- When the rice is cooked, pour milk over it, add sugar, vanilla sugar, grated orange peel and a little nutmeg.
- Cook until the milk boils and the mixture becomes thick.
- At the end of cooking, add chopped raisins, mix well and pour the sauce into serving bowls.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over the bow-shaped mold so that it is painted nicely. Pleasant!
