Galette or grandma's cake, one of the most practical treats. They are ready in just a few minutes, you can adjust them to your own taste, add and subtract ingredients as you wish, and finally decorate in countless ways.
You can make sweet or savory galettes. You can spread them with cream or jam, pour honey or sweet syrup, decorate with whipped cream or fresh fruit. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, or simply leave as is.
Grandma's cake, ingredients:
- 4 haha,
- 300 ml of oil,
- 300 g of sugar,
- zest of one lemon,
- 250 ml of milk,
- 600 g of flour and
- 1 baking powder.
Grandmother's cake, preparation:
- Beat the eggs and sugar, then slowly add the other ingredients, oil, grated lemon zest, milk, flour and finally baking powder.
- When the mold is warm enough for the galettes, lightly oil it, then scoop out the mixture with a spoon and place it in the middle of the heated mold (2-3 spoons), then close the mold and bake until the green light turns on and the red light goes out, or until it turns golden brown.
