Baklava without crust, or cake with walnuts - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Baklava without crust, or cake with walnuts, quick, simple traditional recipe. Everything is measured by a cup, the cup in the picture is my measure for everything.

Baklava without crust, ingredients:

  • 6 cups flour,
  • 6 cup milk,
  • 2 cups oil,
  • 2 cups semolina,
  • 150 g of ground walnuts,
  • half a bag of baking powder and
  • oil for greasing the pan.

For the syrup you need:

  • 3 cups sugar,
  • 2 vanilla sugar and
  • 3 cups of water.

Baklava without crust, preparation:

  • Mix flour, oil, milk, semolina, nuts and baking powder well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased pan and bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees for about half an hour.
  • During this time, make the syrup: mix sugar, water and vanilla sugar, then boil everything for about five minutes.
  • Pour the hot syrup over the cooled crust.
  • When it cools down, cut it according to your taste.
