Baklava with apples - baklava in a different way, juicy, full of filling. Apple and orange, in combination, give a wonderful taste.

for the dough:

  • 4 pieces of egg
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 14 tablespoons of oil
  • 14 cups of milk
  • 17 spoons of sugar
  • 17 spoons of flour

for the filling:

  • 1,5 kg of apples
  • 180 g of sugar
  • 1 bag of cinnamon
  • 100 g of orange (candied)
  • 100 g of chocolate
  • 100 g of walnuts (ground)
  1. First make the filling. Grate the apples, add sugar, candied oranges and cook on low heat until the excess liquid evaporates. Add cinnamon, chocolate and ground walnuts. Mix well and leave to cool.
    Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and beat until stiff. Gradually add the egg yolks and continue beating. Slowly pour in the sugar while continuously beating. Turn off the mixer and slowly add one ingredient at a time and mix with a whisk. Add baking powder, flour, milk, oil and vanilla sugar. Mix with a fork and pour half of the filling into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 200 C for 2-3 minutes, remove from the oven, pour the entire filling and the rest of the dough for the crust. Bake everything together for another 10 minutes, depending on the oven.
