Baklava with walnuts and raisins (fast).
Baklava with walnuts and raisins (lean), ingredients:
- 500 g of finished crusts
- 400 g of ground walnuts
- 150 g of raisins
- 50 ml of oil
- 700 g of sugar
- 800 ml of water
- 1 lemon
- 3 bags of vanilla sugar
Baklava with walnuts and raisins (fast), preparation:
- Grease the pan with oil. Place 1 or 2 crusts (depending on the size of the pan) on the bottom of the greased pan to cover the bottom. Sprinkle 4-5 tablespoons of ground walnuts over the crust. Continue with layering the crusts (crumple two crusts at a time, as for gibanica). Sprinkle ground nuts and raisins. Stack the crusts until the material is used up. Finish the pie with the crust.
- Cut the baklava into cubes.
- Bake at 200 C for about 30 minutes.
- Leave the baked baklava to cool.
Syrup:
- Pour sugar, vanilla sugar and water into a bowl.
- Wash the lemon, cut it into rings and add it to the bowl.
- Put on a moderate temperature, to boil.
- When it boils, boil the syrup for about 5-6 minutes.
- Pour the hot syrup over the cooled baklava.
- Leave to cool and absorb the syrup well.
- Serve two cubes of baklava each and enjoy the taste!
