Steak in beer, chrono lunch. Combination for chrono lunch, which you can consume up to twice a week.
- 350 g of beef steak (the amount should be adjusted to the height)
- 1 onion
- 1 piece of carrot
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of spelled flour
- 1 spoon of mustard
- 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of wine vinegar
- 2,5 dl of beer
- orange peel
- 1 piece bay leaf
- 1 sprig of thyme

Side dish:
- 6 tablespoons of tagliatelle (cooked according to package instructions, 3 tablespoons per person)
- The steak should be about 3 cm thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a deep frying pan and fry the steak on both sides until golden. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add chopped onion and carrot.
- When the onion has a glassy appearance, remove it from the heat and add the beer and vinegar. Return to the heat.
- Add the brown sugar, mustard, thyme, bay leaf and orange zest. Stir gently.
- As soon as it starts to boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for another 1 hour and 45 minutes.
- When the steak is almost done, cook 6 tablespoons of tagliatelle according to package directions.
- Serve the steak with 3 tablespoons of cooked tagliatelle, per person. Pleasant!
If you are not allowed to consume alcohol, replace the beer with non-alcoholic beer, and remove the wine vinegar from the ingredients.
