INGREDIENTS:

2 cups flour

2 cups of sugar

¾ cup of unsweetened cocoa

2 teaspoons of baking powder

1½ teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon espresso powder (preferred but optional)

1 cup of milk

½ cup oil

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1 cup boiling water

WAY OF PREPARATION:

Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Prepare a baking mold in which you will put baking paper or grease it with margarine and flour.

In a separate bowl, add: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and espresso powder and mix everything until the mixture is completely combined. Add milk, oil, eggs, vanilla extract and mix everything well. Carefully add the boiling water. Don't be alarmed that the mixture is almost runny now - that's how it should be.

It would be preferable to bake the cake in two separate molds. If you decide on that variant, then pour half of the mass into one mold and half into the other. Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes, depending on the oven.

When the cake is ready, take it out of the oven and let it cool down. First ten minutes in the mold, then take it out of the mold and cool it completely.

Spread the crusts baked in this way with the desired cream. This recipe comes with a suggestion, and you can add the cream you are used to.

RECIPE FOR THE PERFECT CHOCOLATE CREAM GLAZING

Preparation time 15 minutes

Ideal for birthdays and other celebrations, and once you try it, it will become your favorite.

INGREDIENTS:

1½ cups margarine (300 grams)

1 cup of cocoa

5 cup powdered sugar

½ cup of milk

2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

½ teaspoon of espresso powder

Method of preparation:

Pour the cocoa into a suitable container, add the softened margarine and beat everything well with a mixer to combine. Then add powdered sugar and milk, adding a tablespoon of milk for every cup of sugar. Turn the mixer on the highest speed for about one minute each time. Then repeat the process until you have poured in all the sugar and all the milk. At the end, add vanilla extract and espresso powder and combine everything again.

If the mass is too dry and hard, add a little milk, a spoonful at a time. If, on the other hand, it is too liquid and does not hold its shape, add powdered sugar, spoon by spoon, until you get the required firmness.

Spread the cream obtained in this way first on one crust, then put the second crust on top of the filling, then spread it all together.

Note: Do not spread this cream on a hot cake, but be patient until it cools down!
