Blinis with buckwheat flour - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Blinis are small Russian pancakes, which are special because they are made with yeast. Blinis are traditionally prepared at the end of winter in honor of the birth of the new sun.

Blini, ingredients:

  • 200 g of buckwheat flour,
  • 2 dl of lukewarm milk,
  • 100 g of margarine,
  • 2 haha,
  • 1/2 bag of dry yeast,
  • a teaspoon of sugar and
  • a little salt.

For the filling:

  • 100 g of salami and
  • 100 g of grated cheese.

Blini, preparation:

  • Mix flour, yeast, salt and sugar.
  • Add melted margarine, eggs and milk to the bowl with flour, then mix everything well. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  • In a larger pan, which has been previously greased, fry 3-4 pieces at a time, for a few minutes on one side, a few minutes on the other side, until they are nicely browned.
  • Ordering: pancake, salami, grated cheese.
  • Garnish to taste.
