Young chefs gathered around the Junior Chefs Club of Serbia they prepared a Christmas lunch for residents from the "Jovan Jovanović Zmaj" Home for children without parental care. Lunch was served on Christmas Day itself, January 7, 2019, from 12:119 p.m. in the Home, Braće Jerković Street XNUMX, in Belgrade.
On this occasion, members of the Junior Chefs Club prepared 180 meals for children placed in the Home without parental care. The event was supported and graced with their presence by the Ambassador of Brazil, H.E. Isabel Christina, Ambassador of Canada H.E. Kathy Chaba, Ambassador of Israel H.E. Alona Fischer-Kam and HRH Princess Katarina Karađorđević.
In addition to its regular educational and professional activities, as well as numerous successes at the most prestigious international culinary competitions, the Junior Chefs Club of Serbia pays special attention to humanitarian work. Since it was started as a regular event - Christmas lunch has been prepared and served to more than 5200 people.
This year, too, the young chefs were supported by the partners of the joint, traditional, Christmas campaign - the company METRO, in whose HoReCa Center the feast was prepared, as well as McCain, Kotanyi, Gastromaster and Friglo.
Participating in activities such as organizing a traditional Christmas lunch for children without parental care is part of the projects by which the METRO company supports the community and the environment in which it operates and provides consistent help to those who need it most.
