Christmas vanillas.

Christmas vanilla, ingredients:

  • 250 g of fat,
  • 5 spoons of sugar,
  • 1 egg,
  • 500 g of flour,
  • jam of your choice, made of apricots, plums, cherries...
  • powdered sugar.

Christmas vanilla, preparation:

  • Beat the fat until foamy, add egg, sugar, flour and knead the dough. Leave the dough to rest for a while.
  • Then roll out the crust about half a centimeter to one centimeter thick, then use a mold or brandy glass of the smallest diameter to make small circles.
  • This time I took out the circles with a regular plastic plug.
  • Arrange in a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes, making sure they remain white.
  • Coat the baked vanilla beans with jam and join two by two, then roll in powdered sugar.
