Christmas cookies - Kristina Gašpar
Christmas cookies – for the upcoming holidays!
The colors that I associate with New Year's holidays are definitely red, green and gold and of course, inevitably, the color of chocolate.
That's why, when preparing food, I use foods that are of the specified color. Of course, sometimes it is necessary to use food coloring to achieve the desired effect.

Christmas cookies - Kristina Gašpar
- Ingredients needed for Part 1:
- 1,5 dl of water
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of margarine
- 100 g roasted (coarsely ground, walnuts)
- 150 g of ground fasting plasma
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- to the taste of orange peel
- Ingredients needed for Part 2:
- 100 g of chocolate
- 100 g of margarine
- 50 g of powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons of water
- Necessary ingredients for decoration:
- 50 g of chocolate crumbs
- 100 g of marzipan
- red and green food coloring
- 1st part: bring water and sugar to a boil, then add margarine. When it melts, remove from the stove, then add vanilla sugar, orange peel and walnuts. Wait for it to cool down a bit, then add the plasma. Form balls of the desired size from the mixture, put them in paper baskets and press them up so that the upper part is flat.
- Part 2: melt the chocolate with water over low heat. Beat the margarine with powdered sugar, then add the warm chocolate and beat until the ingredients are combined.
- Over the first part, put the second part, with a syringe or a spoon.
- Decorate with chocolate crumbs, green leaves and red balls made from colored marzipan. To make this decoration, you don't need any tools other than a simple knife for cutting leaves. Shape the balls by hand.
