Young people cook for young people

Christmas lunch for socially disadvantaged citizens is a humanitarian action initiated by young chefs from the Junior Club of Chefs of Serbia (Junior Chef Club). On Christmas, they will prepare 400 meals in the "Home for children and youth with disabilities in Sremčica". Exactly at noon, 300 meals will be served there, and 100 portions will be delivered to the "Youth Integration Centers" in New Belgrade and Zvezdara.

- Along with providing a quality meal, our idea is to promote appreciation and respect in interpersonal relationships as well as to show social responsibility by helping our vulnerable fellow citizens. We believe that as an association of chefs, which also has international success, we can make a great contribution to the efforts to improve the quality of life in Serbia - said Aleksandar Ilić, Vice President of the Association and coordinator of the Christmas Humanitarian Action, on this occasion.

This humanitarian action will be supported by representatives of the city of Belgrade, the Center for Social Work, the Royal Palace and a large number of embassies. All of them have given great support to the "Junior Chef Club" in the organization of such actions, but also in their regular, educational and professional activities.
