An old recipe in a new edition - quick cake.
Quick cake, ingredients:
- 500 g of flour
- 1 baking powder
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 egg + 1 yolk
- 250 ml of water
Unbaked scone coating:
- egg whites
- coarse sea salt for sprinkling
Quick cake, preparation:
- Mix flour with baking powder.
- Put half of it in a bowl, make an indentation, add egg and yolk, oil and salt and mix with water.
- Leave the cake to rest for 10 minutes.
- Knead the cake.
- Take a larger pan and put baking paper in it.
- Place the scone on baking paper and gently form a thin circle with your hands. Prick it a little with a fork.
- Coat with egg white and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake in a heated oven for 20 minutes at 220 degrees.
- Pleasant!
