Bouquet of scones - Gvozdena Živković

Bouquet of scones - this scone is very easy to knead and shape. It is made of doughnuts.

Bouquet of cakes, ingredients:

• 700 grams of flour
• 3 pieces of eggs
• 5 tablespoons of lard
• 2dl of water
• 3 dl of milk
• 1/2 piece of yeast
• 1 spoon of sugar
• 1 level spoon of salt
• 1 tablespoon fat for coating

Bunch of cakes, preparation:

• Combine milk and water, add a spoonful of sugar, heat a little, add yeast. Stir to dissolve the yeast. Add 2 tablespoons of flour and leave it warm for the yeast to rise.
• Melt the fat, making sure it doesn't get too hot, just melt. Add two eggs and one egg white, mix with a spoon. Leave the egg yolks for coating.
• Heat the flour a little, add salt and mix, then make a well, first pour in the beaten eggs with fat, then add the added yeast and knead a smooth dough that does not stick to your fingers. If necessary, add more flour, because there are small and larger eggs.
• Cover the dough and leave it in a warm place to rise.
• Knead the resulting dough and roll out a 1cm thick crust. Brush the crust with a tablespoon of fat.
• Use a large glass to remove the donuts from the dough.
• Grease a mold or pan with a diameter of 30 cm and first arrange the donuts in a circle. Fill the center of the mold with flowers that you will also make from doughnuts. I made each flower from 2 doughnuts.
• Brush the scone prepared in this way with beaten egg yolk. Leave for at least 20 minutes in a warm place, covered, to rise.
• Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
• Cover the baked cake with a cloth napkin, let it cool a little, and then serve.
