Since ancient times, the linden flower has been used in folk medicine as a medicine to relax the nervous system, especially in the case of severe nervousness, irritability, anxiety and insomnia. The flower contains essential oils, which connoisseurs claim have sedative properties, and contribute to reducing tension and reducing muscle spasms. Also, linden flower tea is effective in the fight against insomnia because it relaxes. It is recommended to add it to a relaxing bath before going to bed. You need to pour five tablespoons of linden flowers with a liter of boiling water and leave it covered for at least an hour. Strain and add to the bath. It is recommended that you apply this treatment one hour before going to bed.

It is recommended to harvest linden in good and dry weather, together with the herb. For medicine, it is best to pick it when the flowers open and before they get old and change color, because a fully bloomed linden loses its healing properties. It is recommended to dry it in the shade, in an airy place. Also, dried flowers must retain their natural color as well as their pleasant fragrance.

Mix 25 g of linden flower, linden flower and chamomile, 15 g of auxiliary plant and 10 g of white saponaria, then scald 3 tablespoons of the mixture with 1/2 l of boiling water, cover and after one hour drink it as warm as possible during the day.

Pour six tablespoons of linden flowers with a liter of boiling water, cover and leave to stand for an hour. Strain and sweeten with honey if desired, then drink moderately during the day.

Linden tea in a mixture against diarrhea

Mix 30 grams of linden flower, 30 grams of chamomile flower and 10 grams each of St. John's wort, rose flower, podubica and rosehip, then pour three tablespoons of the mixture with 5 dl of boiled water, cover and let it stand for one hour. Strain and drink lukewarm during the day.

Strengthen immunity

Mix 25 grams each of linden and rosehip flowers and 15 grams each of orange peel and flowers. Pour three tablespoons of this mixture with half a liter of boiled water. Let it rest in a covered container for 10 minutes, then strain. Drink 2-3 cups of warm tea a day.

Get rid of cellulite

Mix two pinches each of fennel, purée and linden, then boil for 10 minutes in half a liter of water. After that, strain and drink during the day.

Soothe the burns

Boil 100 grams of linden flowers or leaves in one liter of hot water, leave covered for three hours, strain, make poultices and place on the injured area.
