We have stepped deep into autumn, and the markets have been flooded with pumpkin, a healthy vegetable from which you can make countless delicious dishes, and pumpkin soup is just one of them.

If you want to warm up on cold autumn days, you can do it with the help of this warm meal that will fill you up and provide your body with all the necessary vitamins.

ingredients:

- 2 teaspoons of olive oil - 1 medium red onion - 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped - 2 cups of chopped pumpkin - 1 cup of lentils - 6 cups of water - 1 teaspoon of ginger - 1 teaspoon of cumin - cayenne pepper, to taste - sea salt and pepper, to taste

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes, until slightly softened.

Add the garlic. Then pieces of pumpkin, lentils and water. Allow to boil. Reduce the heat, let it simmer gently for 20 minutes.

When the liquid has cooled, transfer it to a blender and blend.

Put it back on the fire and add the spices. Serve and enjoy!

This amount is enough for 6 plates.
