A glass of good wine always brings enjoyment and relaxation. Either as an ideal companion to dishes and desserts, when we want to round off the fullness of taste with the rich aromas that wine can offer, or just as an opportunity to relax after a hard day - quality wine is always the right choice.
Every year top METRO sommeliers organize a comprehensive search for wines that leave no one indifferent with their taste and quality, so this time their attention was drawn to Argentina, a country that is one of the largest and increasingly popular wine producers in the world. The province of Mendoza is located in this country, which represents Argentina's largest wine region, accounting for as much as 80% of wine production in this country. An excellent representative of this province, more precisely its vineyards - Bodega Santa Julia are fantastic EL BAR ARGENTINO wines, which bear the honorary title METRO WINE OF THE YEAR 2020.
The collection is adorned with three wines, and one of them is EL BAR ARGENTINO red, a Malbec characterized by aromas of ripe fruits such as red plums, blackberries, as well as the scent of violets. This wine is very well balanced, has a very pleasant and soft taste, and is characterized by an intense red color, slightly dotted with purple shades. EL BAR ARGENTINO Malbec has balanced acidity and really makes the right choice in combination with various meat dishes, cheeses, and desserts.
Unlike the red characterized by the aroma of ripe fruit, EL BAR ARGENTINO Chardonnay, the white wine is characterized by fresh and floral aromas mixed with notes of apricot, yellow peach and pineapple. Its color is light yellow, with subtle shades of green, and the taste of citrus and tropical fruits is dominant when consuming this wine. EL BAR ARGENTINO Chardonnay goes perfectly with different types of fish and seafood.
In addition to red and white, we cannot leave out EL BAR ARGENTINO Malbec rozé, a pale pink color dominated by notes of orange, white peach and chamomile. It has a very fresh taste and pairs perfectly with various light dishes, as well as various chocolate and fruit desserts. In a word, this rosé is a truly ideal refreshment in the hot summer months.
