Chocolate-hazelnut balls - a favorite delicacy of many, expensive to sell, but that's why you can make it at home 🙂

  • 100 g hazelnut wafers
  • 150 g of hazelnuts
  • 200 g of chocolate cream
  • 200 g of cooking chocolate
  • 50 g margarine
  • 1 pack of wafers (with balls)
  1. Cut the wafers into balls. We need to get the halves that we will fill.
  2. Crush the wafers into small pieces and mix with the chocolate cream. Knead everything well with your hands to get a uniform mixture. If it won't combine, add another 1 tablespoon of chocolate cream and combine everything.
  3. Fill the halves of the balls with the mixture, press one hazelnut in the middle and connect the halves into a ball. Leave them in the refrigerator to cool a little and harden.
  4. Melt the chocolate with margarine. The chocolate should be as hot as possible so that too much does not stick to the ball, but also as cold as possible so that the ball does not distort and melt, you need to find a middle ground. It is best to melt the chocolate in a bowl with a double bottom and dip the balls in it, because the deviation in temperature should be minimal. Basically, everything should be done relatively quickly. I put them on the wafer to "drip off" and dry.
  5. While they are still freshly coated with chocolate, roll them in coarsely ground hazelnuts. You can leave half only chocolate, and roll the other half in hazelnut.
Make them the day before so that they cool down well.
