  • 2 liters of water
  • 1 soup cube (optional)
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 celery
  • some parsnips
  • 100 g peas
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt to taste
  • 3-4 peppercorns
  • 1/2 tablespoon of dry herb seasoning
  • For the dumplings:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of shortening
  • 1/2 tablespoon of dry herb seasoning
  • 10 spoons of plantains
  • some parsley
  1. Put the soup cube in the water and let it boil. During this time, cut the onion into cubes, cut the carrot, celery and parsnip into the desired pieces and add them to the broth to cook. Put the bay leaf, peppercorns and peas. Cook everything together for about 45 minutes, add salt and dry herbs.
  2. Beat a spoonful of fat with a fork, add eggs and 10 spoons of semolina. Make a compact mass. Take out small dumplings with a fork. You need to dip a fork in the hot broth to make it easier to separate the dumplings. A dumpling is good if it floats to the surface of the pan as soon as it is inserted. Cook everything together on low heat for another 6-7 minutes. Remove from the heat and add parsley.
