Chard soup - Javorka Filipović
Chard soup – light, tasty and quick to prepare 🙂 If it is without eggs, then it is good for fasting days.

Chard soup - Javorka Filipović
- 1/2 leek waist
- 1 large carrot
- some celery root
- 1/2 cup rice
- Swiss chard connection
- herbal seasoning to taste
- a little olive oil
- 2 spoons of semolina
- 1 egg white
- water if needed
- Chop the leek, carrot and celery and put them in a little water to cook.
- When the vegetables are soft, add the washed rice, a little more water and continue cooking.
- Then mix in the beaten egg whites, semolina and finely chopped Swiss chard, season and cook until the Swiss chard softens but does not overcook.
- Towards the end of cooking, add a little olive oil. About 1,5 l of water is needed if you like a thicker broth.
- This time I have a lean version without eggs.
- Serving:
- Serve with wholemeal bread or dvopek.
