Chard soup - Javorka Filipović

Corba with chard Javorka Filipovic recipes and cookbook online

  • 1/2 leek waist
  • 1 large carrot
  • some celery root
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • Swiss chard connection
  • herbal seasoning to taste
  • a little olive oil
  • 2 spoons of semolina
  • 1 egg white
  • water if needed
  1. Chop the leek, carrot and celery and put them in a little water to cook.
  2. When the vegetables are soft, add the washed rice, a little more water and continue cooking.
  3. Then mix in the beaten egg whites, semolina and finely chopped Swiss chard, season and cook until the Swiss chard softens but does not overcook.
  4. Towards the end of cooking, add a little olive oil. About 1,5 l of water is needed if you like a thicker broth.
  5. This time I have a lean version without eggs.
