Stew with dry ribs - a memory of childhood and my mother's kitchen.

  • 300 g dry ribs (meaty)
  • 200 g of beef fish
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 1 piece of carrot
  • 1 piece parsley (root)
  • oil (a little)
  • 4 pieces of potatoes
  • beaver

  • ground sweet pepper
  • 1 spoons of flour
  • water (if needed)
  • 50 ml tomato juice
  1. Put the ribs in cold water and let it boil. That way, the salt and various preservatives will come out and it will be ready for the broth. Cut the baby fish into larger cubes.
  2. Heat the oil, add the chopped onion and carrot, sauté for a short time, then add the fish and stew it for about 30 minutes with occasional addition of water.
  3. After that time, add the dry ribs, pour water to cover the meat and cook for about 1 hour.
  4. Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes and put them in the broth. Cook it all for another 15 minutes.
  5. Mix a spoonful of flour and a little spicy sweet pepper in a little water and add to the boiling broth.
  6. Add tomato juice, season to taste and leave everything to cook gently for another 10 minutes.
A combination of meat and potatoes and a delicious lunch is on the table. Add as much water as you want to make the soup thick. We like thick, and that's a matter of taste.
