Meatballs with pumpkin in sauce - who loves pumpkin, very tasty and juicy.
For the meatballs:
- 400 g of minced meat
- 400 g of pumpkin (grated)
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 piece of egg
- 1 spoons of sour cream
- 4 spoons of breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon fennel (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- so
- pepper (ground)
- 300 g of pumpkin (chopped into small cubes)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- 2 pinches rosemary (dry)
For the sauce:
- 2,5 dcl of cooking cream
- 2,5 dcl of water
- 1 pinch of nutmeg (grated)

- In the minced meat, add cleaned grated pumpkin, finely chopped onion and garlic, sour cream, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, ginger, salt and ground pepper. Knead well by hand, let it rest for 15 minutes and make 30 meatballs rolled in flour from the mass.
- Arrange the meatballs in a baking dish previously greased with oil.
Cut 300 grams of pumpkin into small cubes, pour over 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 2 pinches of dry rosemary, and put it between the meatballs.
Bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. - Put 2,5 dcl of cooking cream, 2,5 dcl of water, a pinch of grated nutmeg and a little salt in a bowl, pour over the meatballs and bake for another 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with boiled rice.
