Juicy meatballs from the oven

For the meatballs:

  • 500 g of minced meat
  • 100 g of oatmeal
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bunch of green onions
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • so
  • ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1,5 dcl of white wine

For topping:

  • 2 spoons of sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato puree
  • 1 dcl of cooking cream
  • 1 dcl of water
  • so
  • ground pepper
  • chopped parsley
  • 2 pinches of crushed pepper

Also required:

  • 800 g of new potatoes
  1. Put minced meat, ground oatmeal, chopped green and garlic, 1 egg, chopped parsley, turmeric, salt, ground pepper and 1,5 dcl of white wine in a bowl. Mix everything well by hand and let it rest for 30 minutes, then make 28-30 pieces of meatballs.
  2. Take new potatoes smaller in size (if you don't have smaller ones like me, this time cut the bigger potatoes in half), peel them and cook them in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain the potatoes from the water, add 1 tablespoon of oil, salt, ground pepper and mix.
  3. In a greased baking dish, arrange a row of meatballs, a row of potatoes, cut side down.
  4. Bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
  5. Make the dressing.. Mix 2 spoons of sour cream, 1 spoon of tomato puree, 1 dcl of cooking cream, 1 dcl of water, salt, ground pepper, chopped parsley and 2 pinches of crushed pepper.
  6. After baking for 30 minutes, cover the meatballs and potatoes with the sauce and bake for another 15 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
