Meatballs with fresh basil - Ljiljana Stanković

• 500 years mixed minced meat
• 1 cloves of garlic
• 0,5 piece of onion
• 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
• 1 piece of egg
• 350 g of tomato sauce
• 0,5 cups of red wine
• 1 bunch of basil

Meatballs with fresh basil, preparation:

1. In a large bowl, mix the meat, finely chopped garlic and onion, salt, egg, breadcrumbs and pepper.
2. Knead all the ingredients well with your hands.
3. Leave the mixture for about an hour in the refrigerator.
4. Form meatballs with wet hands, then fry them in hot oil.
5. Reduce the temperature, then add tomato sauce and red wine.
6. Stir slowly and let it simmer for about half an hour.
7. Remove from heat and add finely chopped basil.
