Turkey patties with vegetables - I really don't know if there is a recipe like this, it was created by me defrosting a turkey fillet and since we didn't feel like eating the meat itself, my husband and I prepared the ingredients that we will mix to make patties.

Turkey patties with vegetables - I really don't know if there is a recipe like this, it was created when I defrosted a turkey fillet and since we didn't feel like eating meat alone, my husband and I prepared the ingredients that we will mix to make patties.

  • 300 g of turkey fillet (in a piece)
  • 1 piece of carrot
  • 100 g cauliflower (flowers only)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 clove of garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 handfuls of rice
  • 1 egg (whole)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • beaver
  • so
  • nana
  • parsley
  • red pepper
  • meat seasoning mix
  • kari
  • olive oil
  • sunflower oil
  1. Cook the meat, carrots, cauliflower and rice in a pot for about 15 minutes. Add the cauliflower 7 minutes before the end of the time, because it needs very little time to cook.
  2. Fry the onion in olive oil in a pan until it starts to soften and then add the garlic. Fry until everything gets a nice golden color.
  3. Break one egg into a blender and add all the spices, then the onion.
  4. When the meat, vegetables and rice are cooked, strain and add to the blender with the rest. Blend until you get a uniform mass.

  5. Take out the mass in a deep dish and wait for it to cool a little so that you can shape it into patties.

  6. Add one cup of breadcrumbs to the mixture and mix well with your hands. If the mass is too wet, add a little more breadcrumbs.
  7. Form into patties by separating a ball that fits in a closed fist and pressing it between the palms. Do not make it too thin because the mass is delicate and may fall apart.
  8. In a little oil, fry the burgers until they get a nice brown color.

  9. Take them out and serve them warm with one of the seasonal salads, and you can also sprinkle some lemon over them.

This amount makes about 10 smaller patties.
You can add whatever you have at home to these burgers, we used what we had and thought it went well - and it does, they are very tasty 🙂
