"Envoy" hotel, for travelers and culture lovers
This fall, hoteliers seem to be racing to see who will open their building in our capital first, so at the beginning of October, in the heart of the city, in Čika Ljubina, number 13 was officially opened and "Envoy" Hotel.
With the presence of numerous dignitaries from the country and abroad, including state officials, businessmen and directors of large corporations, the media, but also famous artists and public figures. The guests enjoyed the exceptional ambiance and pleasant atmosphere with the sound of Nikola Demonja's saxophone.
"Envoy" is the only hotel in Belgrade's tourist offer that is also a new treasury of works of art. Namely, the environment is enriched with valuable works of our painters, created between the First and Second World Wars. The hotel also has a library with over 500 selected titles.
As the word "envoy" in translation means a special diplomatic envoy, it was also logical that the hotel should be located at an address with the name of the Serbian diplomat and writer from the 19th century, Ljuba Nenadović. This street in the very center of Belgrade simultaneously radiates the accelerated rhythm of the metropolis and the tranquility of a small town.
- Belgrade is a city of rich history and culture, unfortunately not always sufficiently promoted, and our idea was to build a hotel that would contribute to that kind of promotion. "Envoy" is a city boutique hotel that, with its interior, offers every guest the feeling of being at home. The slogan under which Envoy will run its business is "a hotel that knows you", which implies an individual approach and commitment to each guest, which will make the stay in the hotel, as well as in Belgrade, pleasant for everyone who places their trust in us - said Biljana Obradović, general manager of the hotel .
The hotel is spread over nine floors in the reconstructed building of the former Australian embassy, and the impeccable decor of the entire space, as well as all 49 rooms that the hotel has, is due to the works of art by Moma Kapor, Peđa Milosavljević, Stojan Aralica, Marko Čelebonović, and many other greats.
All rooms have a writing desk, interactive smart TV, free wireless Internet access and a safe, and hotel guests can relax free of charge in the fitness and spa center with gym, massage room, sauna and Turkish bath.
The hotel also offers a conference hall with a capacity of up to 50 seats, equipped for all types of business meetings. The restaurant of international cuisine is open not only for guests staying at the hotel, but also for all those who, walking through the center of the capital, want to try high-quality specialties of traditional, Italian and French cuisine.
