Hot dog flower – delicious and decorative pastry
Hot dog flower - Ivana Pešić
- 250 g flour
- 1/2 cube of fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1,5 dl of milk
- 50 g margarine
- 4 hot dogs
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoons of oil
- Sesame
- Put flour, yeast, sugar, salt, egg and warm milk in a mixing bowl and knead the dough. Then add melted margarine. Cover with a cloth and leave to rise.
- .Divide the resulting dough into 4 noodles, then knead each one and leave to rest. Roll out the noodles with a rolling pin and place 1 hot dog on each one. Roll the dough into a roll, then cut into 4 with a knife
- places and connect the ends so that you get a flower.
- Arrange the flowers in a tray lined with baking paper and leave to rise for 20 minutes. Coat the flowers with an egg beaten with a spoonful of oil, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees until they are golden brown.
