From Friday 26 to Sunday 28.02. an interesting and interactive event called Turkey Days.
Visitors to this favorite meeting place of many Belgraders will, in addition to shopping, be able to feel the spirit of Turkey in Belgrade, visit an exhibition of photographs of Turkish cities, learn about culture, language, tourism, the ancient art of calligraphy and painting on water - the Ebro.
On Friday 26.02. at 18am the event is officially opened by the Ambassador of Turkey, H.E. Mehmet Kemal Bozay, followed by a mini-concert of Turkish music and a screening of the film "Girls in High Heels" (Turkish: Kızlar Topuklu Ayakkablarla) filmed by students of the Turkish language from Novi Sad, and the "Small Tree" teahouse will organize a mini-tea party. At the opening, the children of the municipality of Beočin, as part of the project Serbia in the rhythm of Europe, will perform the Serbian and Turkish national anthems.
Of course, there will also be tastings of traditional Turkish food and oriental delicacies from the Turkish restaurant Dukat, and as part of the fun part of the program, visitors will be able to enjoy the music of the band Mister Akustik and the oriental dance of Bellyrina Dance Lab.
Visitors to Turkey Day at the Stadium will be able to book a vacation in this wonderful country at affordable prices thanks to Kon Tiki and Big Blue agencies.
The Turkish Halk Bank will also promote its banking services and products.
By participating in the promotional activity of Turkish Airlines, an airline that flies to more countries than any other airline, visitors will be able to win airline tickets to Istanbul, New York, Miami, Barcelona, Malta, Dubai, Mauritius, Bangkok , Tokyo or Manila.
All visitors will be able to participate in creative language workshops, organized by the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center, and enjoy culinary presentations by the chefs of the Turkish restaurant Dukat.
The Office for Culture and Tourism of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Belgrade will present Turkey as a popular cultural and tourist destination.
