Stewed sweet cabbage - Javorka Filipović
Stewed sweet cabbage - an excellent accompaniment to meat or fish.
- 1 piece of onion
- 1/2 a piece of cabbage
- 2-3 pieces of carrot
- 1 bunch parsley

- Bay leaf
- Fry the onion in oil until it becomes glassy. Salt it and add cabbage cut into smaller cubes and carrot cut into rings.
- Pour 1/2 dcl of water, cover, put on high heat until it heats up, then reduce to the lowest setting.
- Steam the cabbage in this way until it becomes soft and occasionally just shake the pan, do not stir it, so that it does not break.
- When it is cooked, season with salt, pepper, add chopped parsley, mix gently and serve.
Cabbage prepared in this way retains its taste and nutrients.
