The "Deca Deci" Foundation and the Children's Philharmonic traditionally organize a New Year's gala concert, intended for classical music lovers of all generations.
The repertoire will include timeless pieces of classical music by Mozart, Strauss, Bach, Offenbach and Bizet, performed by talented young soloists accompanied by a children's orchestra and conducted by Professor Ljubiša Jovanović.
The audience will be able to enjoy famous opera arias, traditional Christmas carols and popular contemporary hits of pop and rock music.
Along with the impressive spectacle of the Children's Philharmonic Orchestra, young talented soloists Lara Arbajter (piano), Anđela Josifovski (violin) and Andrej Jovanović (oboe) will perform on stage, as well as the multiple award-winning Aleksandra Jovanović (soprano), who, among other things, will perform the famous Queen of the Night aria from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute.
We are pleased to announce the performance of the Belgrade Children's Cultural Center Choir and a big musical star who will be a surprise guest.
The atmosphere of the concert will be completed by a fairy-tale festive New Year's scene, which will evoke the spirit of the holiday and, together with the music of the young virtuosos of the Children's Philharmonic, turn an ordinary winter evening in Belgrade into a great musical fairy tale of the Children's Philharmonic!

Today, the Children's Philharmonic is a unique brand in the culture of the region and as such has initiated a rich cultural exchange and cooperation among children and young people. The work of this prestigious children's orchestra, which has neither its own rehearsal rooms nor systematic financial support, but has been maintained for years thanks to the enthusiasm of classical music lovers gathered around the Deca Deci Foundation - has significantly contributed to the popularization of classical music, musical education and the attraction of young concert audiences.
With its attractive, free open-air concerts in the cities of Serbia and the "Pop-up concert hall" and its legendary performance at the "Night of Music" event on Tašmajdan in front of 10.000 people, the Children's Philharmonic encouraged other orchestras to open up to a mass audience.
New Year's concerts of the Children's Philharmonic have become traditional and popular with the audience, and as such, they are classified as important and prestigious cultural and social events of the season.
