Homemade cheese curds.
Homemade cheese curds, ingredients:
- 500 ml of lukewarm water
- 1 cube of yeast
- 1 spoon of salt
- about 1 kg of flour
- 4 tablespoons of fat
For the filling:
- 400 g of cheese
- 3 eggs
- 4 tablespoons of fat
- slightly acidic or plain water

Homemade cheese curds, preparation:
- Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water. Add salt. Mix it up. Gradually add flour and knead a soft, non-sticky dough.
- Use the rest of the flour to develop the crust.
- Divide the dough immediately into 10 noodles.
- Beat eggs and add cheese. Separate two spoonfuls of the prepared filling from the side.
- Melt the fat.
- Take one noodle and roll it out with a rolling pin. Sprinkle with melted butter and sprinkle with cheese and egg filling. Roll up the crust and wrap it like a snail.
- Arrange the sirinjavka in a greased baking tray. Make in order until all the noodles are used up. Coat the assembled cheese curds with fat on top, then (add a little sour or plain water to the separate cheese and egg filling, mix) coat each cheese curd.
- Only when the rolling is finished, turn on the oven at 180 C.
- Bake the curds until they turn nicely yellow.
- Serve chilled with yogurt, sour milk or sour cream.
They are very tasty, soft even the next day!
