A recipe for homemade bread, easy to prepare, both for the more experienced and for beginners.

  • 0,75 cup water (warm)
  • 1 packet of fresh yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 0,5 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable cream for cooking
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 0,5 cup milk

  1. In a large mixing bowl, pour warm water and stir in a packet of fresh yeast. Stir until the yeast is completely dissolved.
  2. Add salt, sugar, vegetable cream, milk and mix well. Let it stand for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the flour, a spoonful at a time, stirring constantly, so that no lumps form. The kneaded dough must not be too wet or too dry.
  4. Sprinkle the mixing board with flour. Remove the dough from the mixing bowl and place it on the mixing board. Knead it, sprinkling with a little flour, if necessary, until the dough is smooth and not sticky to the touch.
  5. Transfer the dough to a bowl where it will rest. Beforehand, coat the dish with a little butter. Cover with a damp cloth and leave for 1 hour in a warm place.
  6. Remove the dough to the mixing board and knead the dough. Return the dough to the bowl to rest for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180 C.
  8. Grease a baking dish with butter and form the dough into a loaf. You can use rectangular baking pans, if desired, to get the appropriate shape of the baked bread. If you wish, you can make notches on the top surface of the dough with a knife.
  9. Bake the bread for about 45 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. When the bread is ready, take it out of the baking dish, wrap it in a clean kitchen towel, and let it cool.
