Homemade bread with olive oil.

Homemade bread with olive oil, ingredients:

  • 800 grams of flour
  • 6 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 half spoon of salt
  • 1 spoon of sugar
  • 1 bag of dry yeast
  • 4 dl of water
  • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar

Homemade bread with olive oil, preparation:

  • Sift the flour and mix in dry yeast and salt, mix well with a spoon
    make a well and add 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Heat the water a little, then add sugar and vinegar, knead a smooth dough with that mixture.
  • Cover the dough with foil and leave it in a warm place for at least half an hour to rise.
  • Then knead it and roll out the crust in the shape of a rectangle.
  • Pour two tablespoons of olive oil over the crust and coat the crust.
  • Roll the crust into a loaf shape and place it in a strudel mold that you have covered with parchment paper. Coat it with oil and cut a little from the top with a knife.
  • Leave the covered loaf in a warm place for another half hour to rise.
  • When the dough fills the mold, put it to bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until it gets a nice brown crust.
  • Brush the baked bread with water, wrap it in a cloth napkin and let it cool a little.
  • Serve warm or cold bread.
  • If you have leftover bread for the next day, it is soft and fresh, does not spoil and is very tasty.
