Homemade Toblerone - Zuzana Grnja

  • 250 g of sugar
  • 350 g of cooking chocolate
  • 100 g of margarine
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 spoons of brewed strong coffee
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g of roasted hazelnuts
  • 50 g of biscuits
  1. Fry the hazelnuts in a dry pan, peel them and chop them into smaller pieces.
  2. Strain the coffee and melt the chocolate in it over low heat.
  3. Separately beat the egg yolks with sugar, then add beaten margarine, melted chocolate, hazelnuts and crushed biscuits.
  4. Mix everything well into a compact mass.
  5. Spread the mass in a rectangle on parchment paper with a thickness of 1 cm.
  6. Cover with a new piece of parchment paper and press down with a heavy object and leave to cool and harden.
  7. The next day, cut into 5 cm wide strips. and then to the triangles.
