The humanitarian action called "Magic breakfast" launched by the company METRO and the bank Crédit Agricole Srbija, in cooperation with the Food Bank and the Secretariat for Education and Child Protection of the City of Belgrade, has been successfully implemented for a decade. The goal of the joint project is to provide a significant donation of food to schools throughout Serbia, where children with special needs are educated, every year during the campaign. With the support of the Junior Chefs Club of Serbia, the preparation of a large celebratory meal for children is traditionally organized at the school of their choice.
This year's donations began on March 14 and will last until April 10, when all people with a big heart will have the opportunity to become part of this noble action, thanks to which children with special needs from 35 schools across Serbia receive an additional and healthier meal, as one of basic prerequisites for a happier childhood. By purchasing a package at any METRO distribution center, you are helping children who need help the most. In addition to buying packages, you can also provide help by donating any amount to the Food Bank account 330-0000004013201-29, at Crédit Agricole bank.
Last year, with the help of the favorite mascot - Villa Dobrila, more than 5 tons of food and 3.000 packages were donated for children all over Serbia, and on the occasion of marking the first decade of the existence of this humanitarian action, on April 16, a sports class with well-known public figures will be organized at the school "Veljko Ramadanović" in Zemun.
