Two-color kugloff with cherries.

  • 4 pieces of eggs
  • 2 cups sugar (2 dl cups)
  • 0,75 cups of oil
  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1,5 cups of yogurt
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 2 sachets of vanilla
  • 3 bars of chocolate (2-3 bars of cooking chocolate)
  • 300 g of cherries (about 300 g of pitted cherries)
  • 1 dl of prune juice
  • 1 spoons of density
  1. Beat the foamy egg yolks with sugar and vanilla, add oil, yogurt, flour mixed with pastry and finally stir in the whipped cream of egg whites. Combine the mixture well, then add the melted chocolate to 2/3 of the mixture and mix.
    Pour half of the darker mixture into an oiled kugloff mold and arrange half of the cherries. Pour the light mixture over them, then the second part of the darker mixture over it. Arrange the rest of the cherries over it.

  2. Bake the kuglof at 180 degrees. about 40 minutes. Baked and cooled, carefully transfer to a round cake tray.

  3. Pour the cherry juice into the pan, add the stock and cook for about a minute or two. Pour over the kugloff.

  4. Cool the kuglof and serve.
