Blackberry jam.

Blackberry jam, ingredients:

  • 3 kg of blackberries
  • 1,5 kg of sugar
  • 3 bags of vanilla sugar

Blackberry jam, preparation:

  • Measure and wash the blackberries. Put in a saucepan, add sugar and mix. Grind with a stick mixer.
  • Put on the stove and cook. When it starts to boil and foam, reduce the temperature and cook while stirring.
  • Remove the foam.
  • Then cook, stirring constantly. It's done when the welder leaves a mark on the bottom of the pot. Or take out some jam on a tray, cool and check the density. Towards the end of cooking, add vanilla sugar.
  • Put the clean and dry jars in the oven and turn it on at 100C. After half an hour, take out the jars and let them cool for a few minutes. Pour the warm jam into hot jars. Return to the switched off (but warm) oven for another 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and tightly close the jars, wrap them in a towel and let them cool completely.
