Hake fillets are prepared in the oven, served warm, garnished with fresh parsley leaves. For this recipe, you can also use fillets of another type of fish.

  • 1 kg hake fillet (or some other fish)
  • 1 piece of lemon juice
  • flour
  • 200 g of bacon (meaty)
  • 250 g cheese (trappist or gouda, in sheets)
  • turkey
  • primrose leaf
  • olive oil
  • 5 pieces of pepper
  1. Wash the fish fillets and let them drain on a paper towel. Pour over lemon juice and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Salt the fillets, roll them in flour and fry them in oil in a heated pan until they are half done.
  2. Clean the pepper and cut it into noodles. Cut the bacon into noodles.
  3. Place the fish fillets on the bottom of an oiled ovenproof dish. Arrange pepper and bacon noodles over the fillet. Layer cheese leaves on top. Cover everything with melted butter. Bake in the oven at 200 C for about 30 minutes, until the cheese melts and turns brown.
  4. Serve the fillets warm, garnished with fresh parsley leaves.
