Traditional Fish Fest 2021 takes place on the quay near Nebojša Tower (in front of the "Vodenica" restaurant) from September 2 to 5, 2021. Gastronomic cultural and entertainment event Fish Fest 2021 they announced at the opening event Damir Handanović, acting director of the Center of Belgrade Festivals - CEBEF, Istanbul Geshtamov - respected chef, member of the Association of Chefs-Cooks of Serbia and the Culinary Association of Serbia i Đorđe Zivanović - president of the "Danube in the heart" association and representative of Fish Fest.
During the four days of the event, visitors can expect: fish and Mediterranean specialties, traditional fish soup in 100-liter cauldrons, which will be prepared by the chefs of the restaurant "Vodenica" and the Association of Chefs of Serbia; guest appearances by famous chefs from Serbia and the region; producers of wine, cheese, sauces, olive oil, spices, old crafts; a competition of young chefs, then a special Day of Sarajevo cuisine with the preparation of Sarajevo pies, bureks and kebabs in front of the audience, and in addition there will be a nautical exhibition and promotion of the vessel NARVAL SERBIA, as well as a FISH FEST CHILDREN'S CORNER with animations for children and a musical program. On Thursday and Friday, the program starts at 12 noon, and on the weekend the program will start at 10 am. Entrance is free.
The special guests of Fish Fest will be a famous chef Stevo Karapandž i Union of Chefs of European and Mediterranean Regions from Split.
Fish Fest will also include the professional part of the program, lectures for young chefs by professors of the University of Hospitality in Belgrade with guests from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia.
The organizers of Fish Fest 2021 are the "Danube in the Heart" association, the "Vodenica" fish restaurant, with the support Center of Belgrade festivals CEBEF.
