Low-Fat Cheese Frittata with Peas - This frittata is originally made with Ricotta cheese, but any young, low-fat cheese can be used. Also, instead of peas, you can use spinach, greens, ground pumpkin, and the like. Let your imagination run free!

Low-fat cheese frittata with peas, ingredients:

  • low-fat cheese (600-700 gr)
  • peas 300 gr
  • parsley
  • basil (link)
  • eggs (2-3 pieces)
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • crushed hot pepper (to taste)
  • margarine for greasing

Low-fat cheese frittata with peas, preparation:

  1. Boil the peas for a few minutes.
  2. Add half the amount of peas to the mixing bowl. Mash the peas. Add cheese to the bowl. Stir to combine.
  3. Finely chop the parsley and basil. Add to the frittata mixture. Stir to combine.
  4. Beat the eggs and add to the frittata mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Add the second half of the peas, add spices to taste and stir to combine.
  6. Grease a baking mold or a deep pan with margarine and pour the mixture with the frittata. Bake in the oven at 180 C for about 30 minutes
