Have you heard about one of the oldest craft shops in Belgrade, called King's Shop?
This artisan shop for the production of crusts and pasta was founded by Filip Arsenović in 1926 in Belgrade, at the corner of 29. novembra Street and Cetinjska Street. In 1948, Filip was succeeded by his son Kosta Jordanovski, who retired in 1980 and left the store to his son Simon Jordanovski. In 2010, Simon was succeeded by his son Kosta Jordanovski, who is our guest today.
What are the main characteristics of the craft business that Kosta runs today. Without twisting it, we can say that it is quality! And in order for quality to be a long-lasting and sustainable category, only top-quality raw materials, experience and craftsmanship are used for the production of finished products.
And from the foundation until today, the recipe of their products, of course, without the addition of additives, has not changed, as well as the manual method of production.
WATCH the fifth episode of Gastronomic Conversations, the guest was Kosta Jordanovski, the owner of the King's Shop shop for making crusts and pasta with a tradition since 1926.
Our guest was Kosta Jordanovski, the owner of the royal craft shop, which is a translation of the name King' Shop.
In the next episode, our guest will be Marina Ocokoljić, the owner of the Umami pasta brand, whose main activity is the production of specialties from cut and dried dough, which is based on hand processing from quality raw materials.
