Agricultural and beekeeping farm Soldatović products with, a mixture of honey and medicinal herbs, medicinal honey brandies and propolis with the addition of herbs. They are especially proud of domestic cosmetic products based on wax and essential oils (face and hand creams, lip balms, oils,...) under the name Handmade by Marisol.
Farming Soldatović is located on the slopes of the Sokol mountains in the village Bastav (on the way from Valjevo to Pecka and Ljubovia). Beekeeping is a tradition of the Soldatović family that began several generations ago as a hobby of the older members of the household, which was passed down from generation to generation. Each generation contributed to conquering and improving the technique of beekeeping, and then the hobby grew into a family business in which all family members gladly participate. The apiary is located in a large orchard (quinces, apples, plums) which is about 400 meters above sea level, in a hilly area where there are no industrial pollutants.
"In order to expand the family business, we decided to form a new apiary and locate it in the Vojvodina Plain, in the village Sakule (stork village). This allowed us to have additional types of honey, from sunflower and linden, which are characteristic of the vast and flat Vojvodina, while acacia, meadow and forest we still produce in hilly Radjevina" - tells us Marija Soldatović, who takes care of all the brands of the Soldatović farm.
"The development of beekeeping in Serbia prompted our farm to start producing honey mixtures and medicinal herbs (nettle, ginger, mint, lemon balm, anise and others), which are increasingly used in nutrition, improving health and as auxiliary medicinals."
Marija Soldatović also revealed to us that the Soldatović farm, following the development of production and science, conquers new products and technologies and introduces cosmetics into production. They produce different ones skin care creams which are completely natural and without chemicals, and are made by hand on the basis of beeswax, olive oil, homemade macerates of medicinal plants that they grow themselves and use in further production.
