The top chef, instructor and lecturer in the field of cooking, specialist in Thai cuisine, Mrs. Siriwan Siridej, was a guest lecturer at the gastronomy workshop at the HoReCa Center of the Metro Cash & Carry company in Belgrade.
The seminar was intended for professional chefs, which is the working principle of the METRO HoReCa Center, one of the most modern centers for the education of professionals in this field in Europe, and with which the company wants to contribute to the development of the catering sector.
During this workshop, all attendees had the opportunity to participate in the preparation of Thai cuisine specialties such as Pad Thai, Gai pad med mamuang, Kaeng Khiaw Waan Kai and others together with the instructor and lecturer, Mrs. Siriwan. After the workshop, all participants received certificates.
The seminar was organized in cooperation with the Office of Commercial Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest (Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy) and the Department for International Trade Promotion of the Thai Ministry of Trade DITP (Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand).
Siriwan has vast experience in the field of cooking, which he considers a real art. For one period of her career she was the head chef for the royal family of Thailand, she loves to research and constantly educate herself, and selflessly share her knowledge.
