Dumplings or dumplings with plums.
Gomboce or dumplings with plums, ingredients:
- 30 pieces of pitted plums,
- 500 g of potatoes,
- bucket of fat,
- half a teaspoon of salt,
- 1 egg and
- about 500 g of flour.
For twisting:
- 10 pieces of breadcrumbs on top
- 10 spoons of granulated sugar.
Gomboce or dumplings with plums, preparation:
- Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes and peel them.
- Drain the water from the potatoes and drain them, then add fat, a little salt and eat and leave to cool.
- Add an egg to the cooled potatoes and add flour to knead the dough.
- Place some flour to sprinkle on your hands when making the balls.
- Take a portion of the dough and spread it a little with your hand and put a plum in the middle and make a ball or a ball.
- Place the prepared dumplings in boiling water that is slightly salted and when they float to the surface, cook for another 10 minutes.
- Mix breadcrumbs and sugar and fry until brown.
We like to mix sugar and breadcrumbs with salt and roll them into balls.
