Peas with chicken - Vesna Pavlović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Peas with chicken.

Peas with chicken, ingredients:

  • 2 heads of onion,
  • 2 carrots,
  • 2 potatoes,
  • if necessary oil,
  • 400 g of peas,
  • 4 chicken drumsticks,
  • to taste: dry herb seasoning, salt, pepper,
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika,
  • 1 tablespoon of flour,
  • water if needed,
  • 1 clove of garlic.

Peas with chicken, preparation:

  • Remove the bone and skin from the carapace, then cut them into smaller pieces.
  • Pour oil into a deep pan and heat it.
  • Add finely chopped onion and fry briefly.
  • Stir in the chopped meat and simmer with occasional addition of water until the meat becomes soft.
  • Then add chopped potatoes, chopped garlic and carrot cut into rings.
  • Add peas and mix.
  • Mix in the sweet paprika, salt and pepper to taste, mix in the dry herb seasoning, mix and pour hot water.
  • Cover and let it simmer over moderate heat until the vegetables and meat are cooked.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Mix the flour with water, pour it into the pan and stir constantly so that no lumps form.
  • Return to the fire and cook for another ten minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve.

Tip: determine the amount of water yourself depending on whether you want a thicker or thinner dish. Serve hot with a seasonal salad. Pleasant!
